Question: Do u have a disk on instr. to weld alum? I would make millions if i could weld 6061-t651 alum./ and whats the no. of the welding rod? 5659? i'll need some of that 2. thks. merry xmas

As for welding 6061-t651, we suggest using 5356 aluminum welding rods. You can get these from any local supplier or online welding company that sells standard TIG welding rods. As for the process, we suggest you follow these tips: --Use 5356 aluminum TIG welding rod --Ensure that you use the Blue Welding Lens to reduce the Aluminum glare. [url=http://torchweld.com/products/138-blue-lens-blue-film-3-shade.aspx]You can order that here.[/url] --Preheat a larger area of your aluminum to about 400 degrees --When you start your welding, make sure you wait for the wrinkle caused in the aluminum ten start laying your bead --Use the correct TorchTip based on the thickness of Aluminum that you are welding.
